Marbled Caramel Delight Loaf

Ingredients

  • 5 eggs (room temperature)
  • ▫️ 200 g sugar
  • ▫️ 1/2 package vanilla sugar
  • ▫️ 170 ml oil
  • ▫️ 130 ml water
  • ▫️ 320 g all-purpose flour
  • ▫️ 8 g cocoa powder
  • ▫️ 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ▫️ 8 pieces caramels

Instructions

    Start by separating the egg whites from the yolks and beat the whites until stiff with a pinch of salt. Gradually add the sugar and vanilla sugar. Add the yolks one by one while still mixing. Pour in the oil and water and mix.
    Mix the flour with baking powder, sift into the mixture, and combine.
    Divide the batter into 2 parts. Add cocoa powder to one part and mix.
    Spoon a few tablespoons of light batter, then a few of the dark one into the loaf pan, alternating. Finally, arrange the sliced caramels on top, gently pressing into the batter. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 40 minutes.
