Ingredients

  • 4 eggs at room temperature
  • 250g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 150ml milk
  • 150ml oil
  • 150ml carbonated water
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 500g flour
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 5 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 170°C (340°F) and grease a baking sheet.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs with sugar and vanilla sugar until fluffy.
  3. Gradually add milk, oil, and carbonated water, mixing well.
  4. Sift in the baking powder and flour, stirring until smooth.
  5. Divide the batter into two equal parts.
  6. Mix cocoa powder with milk to form a paste.
  7. Pour one half of the batter into the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Mix the cocoa paste into the remaining batter and pour it over the plain batter.
  9. Use a knife to create a marble effect by swirling the two batters together.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for about 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  11. Allow the cake to cool before slicing and serving. Enjoy your marble sheet cake!
