Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour (300g)
  • 1 cup semi-skimmed cheese (250g)
  • 1 cup butter (200g)
  • 2-3 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 4 apples
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Combine the flour, semi-skimmed cheese, butter, and powdered sugar in a mixing bowl.
  2. Knead the ingredients together until they form a dough resembling shortcrust pastry.
  3. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate it for 30 minutes.
  4. Peel the apples and slice them thinly.
  5. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit).
  6. Roll out the chilled dough and cut out circles.
  7. Place a slice of apple on each circle and seal the edges.
  8. Arrange the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Bake for about 20-25 minutes until lightly golden.
  10. Dust the cookies with powdered sugar before serving.
