Delicipus Apple Sheet Cake
Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 2 packets of vanilla sugar
- 2 packets of baking powder
- 700g flour
- 300g yogurt
- 1 packet of butter
- Pinch of salt
- 250g sugar
- Zest of one organic lemon
- Also: 1 kg apples
- 100g sliced almonds
- And cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 185°C (365°F) and grease a baking sheet.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs with the vanilla sugar until fluffy.
- Add the baking powder, flour, yogurt, softened butter, salt, sugar, and lemon zest to the bowl. Mix everything until well combined to form a smooth batter.
- Peel and core the apples, then slice them thinly.
- Pour the batter onto the greased baking sheet and spread it out evenly.
- Arrange the apple slices on top of the batter and sprinkle with sliced almonds and cinnamon.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, or until the cake is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool before slicing and serving. Enjoy your delicious apple sheet cake!
