Heavenly Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (250ml) milk
  • 1/4 cup (50g) sugar
  • 1/2 cube of yeast
  • 3 1/2 cups (450g) flour
  • 1/3 cup (80g) softened butter
  • 1/2 cup (100g) softened butter (for filling)
  • 1/2 cup (100g) brown sugar (for filling)
  • 3 tablespoons cinnamon (for filling)
  • 3 packets vanilla sugar (for filling)
  • 4 ounces (120g) cream cheese (for frosting)
  • 2/3 cup (80g) powdered sugar (for frosting)
  • 3 tablespoons softened butter (for frosting)
  • Splash of vanilla extract (for frosting)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the milk, sugar, and yeast. Gradually add the flour, then mix in the softened butter until a soft dough forms.
  2. For the filling, mix together the softened butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla sugar until well combined.
  3. Roll out the dough thinly and spread the filling mixture evenly over it. Roll up the dough tightly and slice it into rolls.
  4. Place the rolls in a greased muffin tin and let them rise for at least 20 minutes.
  5. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Bake the rolls for about 35 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. While the rolls are baking, prepare the cream cheese frosting by mixing the cream cheese, powdered sugar, softened butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  7. Once the rolls are done and cooled, generously spread the cream cheese frosting on top.
  8. Serve and enjoy these delicious Cinnamon Rolls!
