Easy Homemade Dessert in 10 Minutes
Ingredients
- For the Cream:
- 1 cup (250g) Mascarpone
- 1 cup (200ml) heavy cream
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 1 packet whipped cream stabilizer (Sahnesteif)
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- Additional:
- 6 puff pastry sheets
- Sliced almonds
- 1 egg yolk, beaten with a little milk for brushing
- Pistachios and chocolate sprinkles for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F).
- In a bowl, mix together mascarpone, heavy cream, vanilla sugar, whipped cream stabilizer, and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Lay out the puff pastry sheets and spread the cream mixture evenly over them.
- Sprinkle sliced almonds on top of the cream-covered puff pastry sheets.
- Roll each sheet into a log and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the rolled pastry with the egg yolk and milk mixture for a golden finish.
- Decorate with chopped pistachios and chocolate sprinkles.
- Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 25 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown and crispy.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
