15 minutes Chocolate Nutella Cake

Ingredients

  • For the Batter:
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar (about 200g)
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 2/3 cups heavy cream (about 400ml)
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour (about 250g)
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder (about 50g)
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • Additionally:
  • Nutella

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 170°C (338°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, crack the eggs and add sugar along with the vanilla sugar. Use an electric mixer or whisk to beat them until the mixture becomes fluffy.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and continue mixing.
  4. Sift in the flour and cocoa powder into the batter. Add the baking powder as well.
  5. Mix everything thoroughly until you have a smooth batter.
  6. Grease a baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  8. Create a marbled effect by adding dollops of Nutella to the surface of the batter. Swirl it through with a knife or toothpick.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  10. Allow the cake to cool before slicing and serving.
