Fluffy and soft Bread

Ingredients

  • For the Dough:
  • 1 packet dry yeast
  • 1 1/4 cups lukewarm milk (about 300ml)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2/3 cup lukewarm water (about 150ml)
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Approximately 4 1/4 to 4 2/3 cups all-purpose flour (about 650-700g)
  • Additionally:
  • Sucuk (Turkish sausage), Grated cheese, and Bell pepper
  • For rolling: Toasted sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine dry yeast, lukewarm milk, butter, lukewarm water, sugar, and salt.
  2. Gradually add the all-purpose flour while stirring until a soft dough forms. Knead the dough until it's smooth and elastic.
  3. Cover the bowl with a kitchen towel and let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until it doubles in size.
  4. While the dough is rising, prepare your additional ingredients such as sucuk, grated cheese, and bell pepper.
  5. After the dough has risen, divide it into equal portions and shape them into rolls.
  6. Roll the rolls in toasted sesame seeds for an extra flavor boost.
  7. Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (392°F) in both upper and lower heat for approximately 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. While the rolls are baking, mix molasses or Pekmez with water for dipping.
  10. Once baked, let the rolls cool slightly, then dip the tops into the molasses mixture.
  11. Enjoy your homemade fluffy rolls with a delightful combination of sucuk, cheese, and bell pepper!
