Moist and Fluffy Cake
Ingredients
- For the Pudding:
- 2 cups (500ml) Milk
- 1 cup (200ml) Heavy Cream
- 1 packet Vanilla Sugar
- 2/3 cup (120g) Sugar
- 3 tablespoons Cornstarch
- 1/3 cup (80g) Flour
- 1 cup (200g) Sour Cream or Cream Cheese
- For the Cake:
- 4 Eggs
- 1 cup (200g) Sugar
- 1/2 cup (100ml) Oil
- 1/4 cup (50ml) Water
- Vanilla Extract to taste
- 3 1/3 cups (400g) All-Purpose Flour
- 1 packet Baking Powder
- For Soaking:
- 2 cups (500ml) Cold Milk
- For Decoration:
- Coconut Flakes and Pistachios
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine milk, heavy cream, vanilla sugar, sugar, cornstarch, and flour for the pudding. Cook until it thickens, then add sour cream or cream cheese. Set aside to cool.
- For the cake batter, beat eggs and sugar until fluffy. Add oil, water, vanilla extract, flour, and baking powder. Mix until well combined.
- Pour half of the cake batter into a prepared baking dish and spread the pudding mixture over it.
- Add the remaining cake batter on top, spreading it evenly.
- Bake in a preheated oven until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Once baked, soak the cake with cold milk.
- Decorate with coconut flakes and pistachios.
- Slice, serve, and enjoy your deliciously moist cake! 😊
