Moist and Fluffy Cake

Ingredients

  • For the Pudding:
  • 2 cups (500ml) Milk
  • 1 cup (200ml) Heavy Cream
  • 1 packet Vanilla Sugar
  • 2/3 cup (120g) Sugar
  • 3 tablespoons Cornstarch
  • 1/3 cup (80g) Flour
  • 1 cup (200g) Sour Cream or Cream Cheese
  • For the Cake:
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 cup (200g) Sugar
  • 1/2 cup (100ml) Oil
  • 1/4 cup (50ml) Water
  • Vanilla Extract to taste
  • 3 1/3 cups (400g) All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 packet Baking Powder
  • For Soaking:
  • 2 cups (500ml) Cold Milk
  • For Decoration:
  • Coconut Flakes and Pistachios

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine milk, heavy cream, vanilla sugar, sugar, cornstarch, and flour for the pudding. Cook until it thickens, then add sour cream or cream cheese. Set aside to cool.
  2. For the cake batter, beat eggs and sugar until fluffy. Add oil, water, vanilla extract, flour, and baking powder. Mix until well combined.
  3. Pour half of the cake batter into a prepared baking dish and spread the pudding mixture over it.
  4. Add the remaining cake batter on top, spreading it evenly.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Once baked, soak the cake with cold milk.
  7. Decorate with coconut flakes and pistachios.
  8. Slice, serve, and enjoy your deliciously moist cake! 😊
