Magic Cake


4 eggs, separated
150 g sugar
120 g butter, melted
1 tbsp water
1 tbsp vanilla extract
A pinch of salt
120 g flour
500 ml warm milk
1 tbsp lemon juice


Beat 4 egg yolks with sugar until it becomes a light, fluffy mixture. Add 1 tbsp of cold water, vanilla extract, a pinch of salt, and melted butter, then continue beating. Gradually add flour and warm milk, stirring for about 1 minute.

In a clean bowl, beat 4 egg whites with a mixer until it becomes pale, then add lemon juice and continue beating. Gently fold the egg white mixture into the egg yolk mixture.

Line a 26 cm springform pan with parchment paper and pour the batter into it. Don’t worry, it’s quite runny.
Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C (320°F) for 55 minutes. Let it cool completely and sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired. It tastes super delicious, give it a try!
