Chocolate Fusion Cake

 

Ingredients for the Brownie:

  • 4 eggs (small)
  • 100g sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 200g dark chocolate
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 100g butter
  • About 100g flour

For the Cookie Dough:

  • 150g butter
  • 3 eggs (small)
  • 100g sugar
  • 100g chocolate chips
  • About 400g flour
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • Size of baking pan: 28 cm
  • Baking time: Bake at 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) in a preheated oven for about 45 minutes.

Instructions:

  1. Start by making the brownie batter. In a mixing bowl, beat together the eggs, sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla sugar until well combined.
  2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a heatproof bowl over a pot of simmering water or in the microwave. Stir until smooth, then let it cool slightly.
  3. Gradually add the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture, stirring until smooth.
  4. Sift in the cocoa powder, salt, and flour, and fold gently until just combined.
  5. Pour the brownie batter into a greased and floured 28 cm baking pan, spreading it out evenly.

For the Cookie Dough: 6. In another mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

  1. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then add the vanilla sugar.
  2. Gradually add the flour and baking powder, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  3. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough over the brownie batter in the baking pan, covering the surface.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for a while before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  7. Slice and serve this irresistible Cookie Brownie Cake for a delightful treat!
