Inrgedients:
- 4 cups (1 liter) milk
- 3/4 cup (200ml) heavy cream
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 8.8 oz (250g) mascarpone cheese
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon Nutella
- 1/2 cup (100g) sugar
- 7 oz (200g) milk chocolate or milk chocolate chips
- Additionally: 8.8 oz (250g) ground Neapolitan wafers
For the cream:
- Whip 2/3 cup (75g) whipped cream with 2/3 cup (150ml) milk until stiff peaks form, then fold in 5-6 tablespoons of ground Neapolitan wafers.
For decoration:
Neapolitan wafers to sprinkle on top.
Instructions:
- In a saucepan, combine the milk, heavy cream, vanilla sugar, mascarpone cheese, cornstarch, Nutella, and sugar. Whisk everything together until well combined.
- Place the saucepan over medium heat and cook the mixture, stirring constantly, until it thickens and comes to a gentle boil.
- Once the mixture has thickened, remove it from the heat and stir in the milk chocolate until it’s completely melted and smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whip the whipped cream with milk until stiff peaks form. Then gently fold in the ground Neapolitan wafers.
- To assemble the dessert, layer the chocolate mixture and the whipped cream mixture in serving glasses or bowls, starting with the chocolate mixture as the base.
- Repeat the layers until you reach the top of the glasses or bowls.
- Finally, sprinkle some ground Neapolitan wafers on top for decoration.
- Chill the desserts in the refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours before serving to allow them to set.
