Creamy Strawberry Cake Delight

Ingredients

  • For the Cake:
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Sugar (120g)
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream (200ml)
  • 1 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour (150g)
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • For the Cream:
  • 1 2/3 cups Milk (400ml)
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream (200ml)
  • 1/2 cup Sugar (120g)
  • 3 1/2 tbsp Cornstarch (50g)
  • 1 cup Mascarpone Cheese (200g)
  • Decoration:
  • Fresh Strawberries
  • Strawberry Glaze

Instructions

for the Cake:

  1. Whisk eggs and sugar together until fluffy, about 4 minutes.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and mix briefly.
  3. Pour the batter into a 10 or 11-inch springform pan.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C (340°F) for approximately 30 minutes.
  5. Allow it to cool, then refrigerate.

for the Cream:

  1. In a saucepan, combine all ingredients except Mascarpone.
  2. Bring to a boil while stirring constantly.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the Mascarpone.

Spread the cream over the cooled cake.

Decoration:

  1. Decorate the cake with fresh strawberries and a layer of strawberry glaze.
  2. It tastes delicious and is quickly prepared.
  3. Chill the cake for at least 4 hours before serving.
