Creamy Strawberry Cake Delight
Ingredients
- For the Cake:
- 2 Eggs
- 1/2 cup Sugar (120g)
- 1 cup Heavy Cream (200ml)
- 1 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour (150g)
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- For the Cream:
- 1 2/3 cups Milk (400ml)
- 1 cup Heavy Cream (200ml)
- 1/2 cup Sugar (120g)
- 3 1/2 tbsp Cornstarch (50g)
- 1 cup Mascarpone Cheese (200g)
- Decoration:
- Fresh Strawberries
- Strawberry Glaze
Instructions
for the Cake:
- Whisk eggs and sugar together until fluffy, about 4 minutes.
- Add the remaining ingredients and mix briefly.
- Pour the batter into a 10 or 11-inch springform pan.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C (340°F) for approximately 30 minutes.
- Allow it to cool, then refrigerate.
for the Cream:
- In a saucepan, combine all ingredients except Mascarpone.
- Bring to a boil while stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and stir in the Mascarpone.
Spread the cream over the cooled cake.
Decoration:
- Decorate the cake with fresh strawberries and a layer of strawberry glaze.
- It tastes delicious and is quickly prepared.
- Chill the cake for at least 4 hours before serving.
