Double Chocolate Cake
Ingredients
- For a 26 cm loaf pan:
- ▫️ 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- ▫️ 3.5 oz dark chocolate
- ▫️ 2/3 cup softened butter
- ▫️ 3 eggs
- ▫️ 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- ▫️ 2 tbsp milk
- ▫️ 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- ▫️ 2 tsp baking powder
- FROSTING:
- ▫️ 5.3 oz milk chocolate
- ▫️ 1/4 cup 30/36% cream
- Make sure all ingredients are at room temperature.
Instructions
Melt the chocolate with milk and set aside to cool. Mix the flour with cocoa powder and baking powder. Cream the softened butter with sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one by one, continuously mixing. Pour in the cooled chocolate and mix again. Fold in the flour mixture gently with a spoon. Transfer the batter to a loaf pan lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F top and bottom heat for about 30-35 minutes. Don't overbake to keep it moist.
