Creamy Chocolate-Vanilla Cake

Let’s whip up a luscious Chocolate-Vanilla Cake that’s as easy as it is delicious!

For the Batter:

  • 3 eggs
  • 180g sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 400ml cream
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 200g flour
  • 1 packet baking powder

Whisk eggs and sugar with vanilla sugar until creamy. Add the remaining ingredients and pour into a (25x30cm) pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for approximately 25 minutes.

For Soaking:

  • 200ml milk
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar

Briefly heat and spread over the lukewarm cake.

For the Cream:

In a saucepan, bring to a boil:

  • 300ml milk
  • 200ml cream
  • 120g sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar or vanilla extract
  • 50g cornstarch

Cook into a pudding.

Quickly stir in:

  • 200g mascarpone

Set aside. Pour the cream directly onto the cake and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.


  • Grated chocolate

Grate chocolate over the top for that extra chocolaty touch. Your creamy Chocolate-Vanilla Cake is ready to delight!
