Cottage Cheese Delights

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cake flour
  • 2 teaspoons coconut sugar or brown sugar
  • 150g cold butter
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 200g cottage cheese or cream cheese
  • Additional sugar for coating and cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Sift the flour and add the sugar.
  2. Next, add chunks of cold butter and cottage cheese, then chop with a knife. Add the egg yolks and knead into a uniform dough.
  3. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for an hour. Afterward, roll out the dough and cut it into strips, then into squares using a pastry wheel or knife. Roll each square in sugar and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving some space between them.
  4. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
