Ingredients

  • For the Dough:
  • 1 cup lukewarm milk
  • Half a cube of yeast
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg (You can also skip the egg)
  • 1/4 cup softened butter
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • For the Filling:
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon (sprinkle extra cinnamon after spreading 😍)
  • Topping:
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Instructions

Baking Time:Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C (320°F) in conventional mode for about 25 minutes.

Preparation:Mix all ingredients except flour and butter in a bowl. Add flour and butter, knead into a soft dough. Let the dough rest for at least 30 minutes. Mix all filling ingredients. Roll out the dough into a large square. Spread the filling on it, and sprinkle extra cinnamon. Roll the dough into a large log. Cut into 1.2-inch thick pieces. Let it rest for another 20 minutes until it nearly doubles in size. Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C (320°F) for about 25 minutes until golden brown. Cover immediately with a cloth after baking to keep it soft. Mix all topping ingredients and spread over the delicious rolls. Have fun trying it out! 💓
