Quick and Easy Crumbly Plum Cake
Ingredients
- About 2 cups of all-purpose flour (about 300 g - I used half whole wheat)
- 200 g of butter
- 2 teaspoons of baking powder
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup of sugar
- 800 g of plums
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the flour with the baking powder and sugar.
- Add the egg and diced butter.
- Knead everything into a smooth dough, form a ball, and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
- After 20 minutes, take the dough out of the fridge and divide it into two parts.
- Roll out one part into a disk and line the bottom of the pan, pressing it up about 1 cm on the sides.
- Arrange the pieces of chopped plums on the dough.
- Cover with the second rolled-out portion of dough.
- Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for about 50-55 minutes.
