Pillowy Cottage Cheese Donuts

Ingredients

  • 250g cottage cheese (well-ground or from a container)
  • 200g all-purpose flour, plus a bit for dusting
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 30g sugar
  • 100g yogurt

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine all the ingredients and knead. I did it using a stand mixer.
  2. Roll out the dough to about 0.5 cm thick and cut out circles. Use a glass or the end of a piping tip to cut out the center of each circle.
  3. Fry them in well-heated oil.
  4. Once done, coat them in sugar.
