Hot Brigadeiro Cake

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • For the Syrup:
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 can of condensed milk
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Brigadeiro Topping:
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 can heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 60g milk chocolate
  • Sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  1. In a pan, combine eggs with sugar and stir over low heat until sugar grains dissolve. Transfer to a mixer and beat until frothy.
  2. Add cocoa powder, flour, milk, and finally, baking powder. Mix well.
  3. Bake in a 20x30cm rectangular pan at 180 degrees Celsius for 25-30 minutes or until done.
  4. While baking, prepare the syrup and brigadeiro.
  5. Once the cake is out of the oven, cut into equal pieces, drizzle with syrup, add the brigadeiro, and sprinkle with jimmies.
  6. Serve it up hot! Enjoy your treat!
