Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups (235g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon (5g) baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2g) cinnamon
  • 2-3 very ripe bananas (about 300g)
  • 1/4 cup (60g) plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup (80g) granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup (120g) light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon (5g) vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs (about 111g)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, combine all the dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, mash the bananas with a whisk. Add yogurt, butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, and mix well. Add the eggs and incorporate. Now, add the dry ingredients in two parts and mix until well combined.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  5. Allow to cool before removing from the pan and slicing. Enjoy ♥️
