Easy and Moist Apple Cake


  • For the Apples:
  • 🍎 5 apples, peeled, cored, and sliced into large rounds
  • 🍋 Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 🧈 10g butter
  • 🥄 3 tbsp sugar
  • For the Batter:
  • ✔️ 380g flour
  • ✔️ 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ✔️ 250g sugar
  • ✔️ 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ✔️ 1 tsp vanilla
  • ✔️ 180g melted butter (or 120ml oil)
  • ✔️ 2 eggs
  • ✔️ 200ml milk
  • Extra sugar for sprinkling


    In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add the apples. Sprinkle cinnamon, lemon juice, and sugar over them. Cook over medium heat until they achieve the consistency shown in the video, then let it cool.


    Preheat the oven to 170°C (340°F). In a bowl, combine sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, and vanilla, beating until the mixture is creamy. Add the eggs and mix until integrated.

    Add half of the sifted flour with baking powder, mix, then add the milk and mix. Repeat with the remaining flour and milk. Mix gently, just until combined.

    Add half of the apples and mix briefly. Transfer to the mold and decorate with the remaining apples. Sprinkle with sugar and bake for 50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out dry when inserted.

    Allow it to cool before unmolding. Enjoy your delightful apple cake!
