Decadent Holiday Cheesecake

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons cocoa powder
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 100 g butter
  • 1 egg
  • Optional: 2 tablespoons of water
  • Cheesecake Filling Ingredients:
  • 1 kg ground cottage cheese
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 100 g butter
  • 1 package of pudding powder

Instructions

  1. Combine all the crust ingredients until you get a smooth consistency (I used a stand mixer with a hook) and line the bottom of the pan. I DON'T prebake the crust! But if you're worried it might be undercooked, you can bake it for a few minutes. ☺️
  2. For the cheesecake filling, melt and cool the butter. Beat the eggs with sugar until light and fluffy. Add the melted butter, then gradually add the cottage cheese and pudding powder, mixing until well combined. Gently pour the cheesecake filling onto the crust.
  3. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius and bake for about 75 minutes, top-bottom. Do not open the oven during baking!!! Once baked, let the cheesecake cool with the oven door slightly ajar.
  4. Serve dusted with powdered sugar. Enjoy!
