Chocolate Nut Cake


  • 3 Large Eggs
  • 200g Sugar
  • Vanilla Sugar
  • 200ml Milk
  • 100ml Oil
  • 150g Ground Hazelnuts
  • 50g Chopped Hazelnuts
  • 1 Packet Baking Powder
  • 2 tbsp Cocoa Powder
  • 200g Flour
  • For the Decoration:
  • Milk Chocolate (Full-fat)
  • Chopped Hazelnuts


    Baking Time:
    Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F), bake in upper/lower heat for approximately 25-30 minutes.

  • In a bowl, whisk together eggs, sugar, and vanilla sugar until creamy.
  • Add milk and oil, continuing to whisk.
  • Mix in ground hazelnuts, chopped hazelnuts, baking powder, cocoa powder, and flour until well combined.

2. Into the Oven:

  • Pour the batter into a prepared baking pan.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

3. Chocolatey Crown:

  • Melt some full-fat milk chocolate and drizzle it over the cooled cake.
  • Sprinkle chopped hazelnuts on top for that extra crunch.
