Chocolate Nut Cake
Ingredients
- 3 Large Eggs
- 200g Sugar
- Vanilla Sugar
- 200ml Milk
- 100ml Oil
- 150g Ground Hazelnuts
- 50g Chopped Hazelnuts
- 1 Packet Baking Powder
- 2 tbsp Cocoa Powder
- 200g Flour
- For the Decoration:
- Milk Chocolate (Full-fat)
- Chopped Hazelnuts
Instructions
Baking Time:
Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F), bake in upper/lower heat for approximately 25-30 minutes.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, sugar, and vanilla sugar until creamy.
- Add milk and oil, continuing to whisk.
- Mix in ground hazelnuts, chopped hazelnuts, baking powder, cocoa powder, and flour until well combined.
2. Into the Oven:
- Pour the batter into a prepared baking pan.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
3. Chocolatey Crown:
- Melt some full-fat milk chocolate and drizzle it over the cooled cake.
- Sprinkle chopped hazelnuts on top for that extra crunch.
