Brownie Wreath

Ingredients

  • For the brownie:
  • 7.1 oz Butter
  • 9.2 oz Milk chocolate
  • 6 Eggs
  • 6.3 oz Brown sugar
  • 9.5 oz Granulated sugar
  • 1.4 oz Cocoa powder
  • 7.8 oz All-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla extract
  • For the pistachio brigadeiro:
  • 1 can Sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ can Heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp Pistachio paste
  • Pistachios for rolling
  • For the chocolate brigadeiro:
  • 1 can Sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 can Heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp Hazelnut cream

Instructions

Let's start with the brownie. In a bowl, add the eggs, sugars, vanilla extract, and cocoa powder. Mix well and set aside. In a saucepan, melt the chocolate with the butter. Combine with the egg mixture and finish with the flour. Stir and pour into a greased 12-inch round pan lined with parchment paper on the base (cut to fit the bottom and add after greasing). Bake in a preheated oven for 30 minutes at 350°F. Remove from the oven, let it cool, and freeze for 2 hours. Make the chocolate brigadeiro: add everything to a saucepan and stir until it thickens. Let it cool. When the brownie comes out of the freezer, use a cutter to cut the middle and decorate with the brigadeiro using a star-shaped piping tip. Place some pistachio brigadeiros on top (prepared the same way as the chocolate brigadeiro, just roll and coat with pistachios afterward) and dust with some edible golden powder.
