Zesty Orange Delight Cake
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 and 1/4 cup of sweet orange juice
- 1 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon of French vanilla extract
- 2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons of yogurt
- 1/2 cup of cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon of vinegar
- 1 and 1/4 cup of vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon plus 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 170°C (350°F).
- In a blender, combine 2 eggs, 1 and 1/4 cup of sweet orange juice, 1 cup of granulated sugar, and 1 teaspoon of French vanilla extract. Blend until smooth.
- Add 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 2 tablespoons of yogurt, 1/2 cup of cornstarch, 1 tablespoon of vinegar, 1 and 1/4 cup of vegetable oil, 1 tablespoon plus 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder, and a pinch of salt to the blender.
- Blend the mixture until everything is well combined and you have a smooth batter.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once cooled, slice and serve. Enjoy your delicious orange cake!
