Ingredients

  • Softened Butter, 1 cup (240g)
  • Sugar, 1 cup (240g)
  • Eggs, 4
  • Vanilla Extract, 1 tsp
  • All-Purpose Flour, 2 cups (240g)
  • Baking Powder, 1 tbsp
  • Salt, a pinch
  • Milk, 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar. Then, add the eggs one by one, continuously beating. Mix in the vanilla extract.
  2. It's time to add the dry ingredients. Start with the sifted flour, followed by the baking powder and salt.
  3. Finally, add the milk and mix until smooth.
  4. Pour the batter into two 7-inch pans, greased and lined with parchment paper at the bottom. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 40 minutes.
  5. Unmold and cut horizontally into two layers. Enjoy your baking!
