Silky Custard Delight with Marie Cookies
Ingredients
- 5 egg yolks
- 500g milk or plant-based milk
- 30g sweetener of your choice (use this amount for granulated sweeteners like erythritol, a bit more for date paste, and 50% more for inulin)
- 20g cornstarch
- Cinnamon and vanilla to taste
- Maria cookies
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients except the cookies in a saucepan and mix while cold.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it starts to thicken.
- Transfer to glasses, add the cookies, and refrigerate.
