Overnight No-Knead Rustic Bread
Ingredients
- 4 1/4 cups all-purpose flour (I used 4 cups of all-purpose flour and 1 cup of whole wheat flour)
- 1 7/8 cups warm water
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
Instructions
- Mix all the ingredients just until combined.
- Cover the bowl and let it rest for about 1 hour at room temperature.
- Then place the bowl in the refrigerator and leave it overnight.
- Take out the risen dough onto a floured surface.
- Shape it into a loaf, dusting with flour, and cover it with a cloth while preheating the oven with a baking dish inside.
- IMPORTANT: Shape the loaf gently, dusting with flour just enough to prevent sticking.
- Preheat the oven to 240°C (464°F) with the baking dish inside.
- Once heated, carefully transfer the loaf into the hot baking dish.
- Score the bread on top.
- Cover with a lid and bake for 30 minutes at 240°C (464°F).
- After this time, remove the lid and bake for another 12-15 minutes.
