Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry, rolled out
  • Butter, melted
  • Granulated sugar
  • 200g Mascarpone cheese
  • 250ml heavy cream
  • 50ml eggnog
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • Fresh strawberries
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Roll out the puff pastry and brush with melted butter.
  2. Sprinkle granulated sugar over the pastry.
  3. Place another sheet of puff pastry on top and cut into about ten rectangles.
  4. Bake at 410°F (210°C) in a convection oven for approximately 15 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Let the pastry pillows cool completely.
  6. For the cream filling, mix together the Mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, eggnog, and sugar until thick and creamy.
  7. Pipe the cream filling onto the bottom pastry layer.
  8. Place fresh strawberries on top of the cream.
  9. Dust with powdered sugar before serving. Enjoy your delicious pastry pillows!
