Indulgent Chocolate Cake
Ingredients
- For the Cake:
- 2 eggs
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 and 1/4 cups milk
- 1 tablespoon plus 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 2 and 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- For the Filling:
- 1 and 1/2 cups whipped cream
- 2 and 1/4 cups cold, icy water
- 2 tablespoons Nutella spread
- For the Chocolate Sauce:
- 1 and 1/4 cups milk
- 2 small tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- Pinch of salt
- 25 grams butter
- 75 grams chocolate
- Note: The cup used in this recipe is a standard 250ml measuring cup.
