Fluffy and Soft Rolls


  • For the Dough:
  • 1 packet Active Dry Yeast
  • 1 1/4 cups lukewarm Milk (300ml)
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 2/3 cup lukewarm Water (150ml)
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • Approximately 4 1/4 to 4 2/3 cups Flour (650-700g)
  • For the Filling:
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream (100ml)
  • 1 1/4 cups ground Pistachios (180g)
  • 1 cup Cream Cheese (200g)
  • 2 tablespoons Powdered Sugar
  • For Brushing:
  • 1 Egg Yolk mixed with a bit of Milk
  • For Dusting:
  • Powdered Sugar


Baking Time:

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F), and bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes with both upper and lower heat.

  1. Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm milk, add butter, water, sugar, and salt. Gradually mix in the flour until you have a soft dough.
  2. Knead the dough for about 8-10 minutes until smooth, cover, and let it rise until doubled in size.
  3. Meanwhile, prepare the filling by mixing heavy cream, ground pistachios, cream cheese, and powdered sugar.
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread the filling, and roll it up.
  5. Cut into slices, place on a baking sheet, and let rise for another 15-20 minutes.
  6. Brush with the egg yolk and milk mixture.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown.
  8. Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar.
