Easy Jelly Cake Delight

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (130 g) all-purpose flour
  • 5 packets of jelly (I used raspberry)
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 cup (240 g) butter
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter and set it aside to cool completely.
  2. Beat the eggs with sugar until fluffy. Towards the end, add the flour mixed with baking powder.
  3. Continue beating the mixture at low speed, gradually adding the jelly and cooled butter.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. For the glaze, mix water, powdered sugar, and beetroot juice.
