Easy & Delicious Carrot Cake
Ingredients
- 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
- ✅1.5 cups grated carrots
- ✅3/4 cup sugar (I added less)
- ✅4 eggs
- ✅1 cup vegetable oil
- ✅1 teaspoon baking powder
- ✅1 teaspoon baking soda
- ✅2 teaspoons gingerbread spice mix
- Additionally:
- Melted milk chocolate in a water bath and jam
Instructions
👉 Grate the carrots finely.
👉 Beat the eggs with sugar, add oil, sprinkle in the flour mixed with baking powder, baking soda, and gingerbread spice mix.
👉 Finally, add the grated carrots. Mix well.
➡️ Transfer the batter into a baking pan.
👉 Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for about 50 minutes.
➡️ Once cooled, slice the cake in half lengthwise.
Spread jam over one half of the cake.
👉 Cover with the other half of the cake.
Drizzle with melted chocolate and glaze.
