Delicious Strawberry Cheesecake

Ingredients

  • For the crust:
  • 7 ounces Butter Cookies
  • 1/2 cup ground Hazelnuts
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • For the filling:
  • 17.6 ounces Quark (40% fat)
  • 21 ounces Cream Cheese
  • 3/4 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons Flour
  • 3 Eggs
  • For the Strawberry layer:
  • 3/4 cup Water
  • 2 packets Vanilla Sugar
  • 17.6 ounces Frozen Strawberries
  • 2 packets Cake Glaze

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust:
  2. Crush the butter cookies into fine crumbs, either using a food processor or by placing them in a sealed bag and crushing them with a rolling pin.
  3. Mix the cookie crumbs with ground hazelnuts.
  4. Melt the butter, then add it to the cookie and hazelnut mixture. Mix until well combined.
  5. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of a greased springform pan. Set aside.
  6. Make the Filling:
  7. In a large mixing bowl, combine the Quark, cream cheese, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla sugar, cornstarch, flour, and eggs. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  8. Prepare the Strawberry Layer:
  9. In a saucepan, combine water and vanilla sugar. Bring to a simmer.
  10. Add frozen strawberries and cook until they are softened.
  11. Prepare the cake glaze according to the package instructions, then mix it into the strawberry mixture until thickened.
  12. Assemble and Bake:
  13. Pour the cheesecake filling over the prepared crust in the springform pan.
  14. Carefully spoon the strawberry mixture over the cheesecake filling, spreading it evenly.
  15. Bake:
  16. Preheat your oven to 340°F (170°C).
  17. Bake the cheesecake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center still has a slight jiggle.
  18. Chill and Serve:
  19. Once baked, remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool completely.
  20. Chill the cheesecake in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to set completely.
  21. Slice, serve, and enjoy your delightful homemade Strawberry Cheesecake!
