Delicious Ferrero Cake
Ingredients
- Cake:
- 2 eggs
- 100g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- a pinch of salt
- 100ml oil
- 80ml milk
- 80g flour
- 20g cocoa powder
- Hazelnut Filling:
- 100g dark chocolate
- 100ml heavy cream
- 50g ground roasted hazelnuts
- 100g ground hazelnut-flavored biscuits
- 2 heaping tablespoons of @tegla.namaz hazelnut spread with cocoa
- Nutella Filling:
- 200g Nutella
- 250g mascarpone cheese
- 2 heaping tablespoons of @tegla.namaz hazelnut spread with cocoa
Instructions
- Using a mixer, beat eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt. Mix for a few minutes until the mixture becomes light yellow and doubles in volume. Then add milk and oil, mix again. Combine flour and cocoa, add to the mixture, and gently fold in.
- Pour the mixture into a silicone-lined cake pan with parchment paper, 20cm in diameter, and bake for about 20 minutes at 180°C.
- After baking, let the cake cool completely.
- Once the cake has cooled, prepare the hazelnut filling. Heat the heavy cream until hot and add chopped chocolate to it. Let it sit for 2 minutes, then mix well.
- Stir in the ground hazelnuts and ground hazelnut-flavored biscuits into the filling.
- Spread the warm filling over the cake base and set aside to cool. If desired, you can soak the cake beforehand, but I didn't do it because it's moist enough.
- In the meantime, beat mascarpone and Nutella together until just combined. Spread the finished filling over the previous layer and refrigerate overnight.
- The next day, remove from the pan/ring, decorate as desired.
