May's batch of DB is infused with love &...TRUTH! May you desire to know and seek to find the greatest truth - that which lies within.

My name is Sarah Kay Hoffman. I am the Chief Storyteller (aka Marketing Director) at Delighted By Desserts.

Back in February, we first shared how each month the Delighted By products that enter your home are always infused with love and something else – something indicative of how we can help you spread your own glitter as far as it will go.

For May, love and truth have been infused into every single batch, tub, and product produced.

According to Merriam-Webster, truth is defined in many different ways. These three speak to them all:
1. The body of real things, events, and facts: actuality
2. The property (as of a statement) of being in accord with fact or reality
3. Sincerity in action, character, and utterance

But Merriam-Webster isn’t able to fully share the meaning of truth. Only you can know and understand what truth is because it’s not some superficial word. Instead, it’s found deep within.

From 5 am – 7:30 am, my truth is wrapped up as a mother to three; wife to one. Then from 7:30 am – 11 am, my truth is found in A Gutsy Girl. During the hours of 11 am – 5 pm, I find truth as Chief Storyteller here at Delighted By Desserts. And then, once 5 pm hits until the next morning at 7:30 am, I am, once again, Mother, Friend, and Wife.

For me, truth has always simply been another word for identity. This makes perfect sense, too, since truth is oftentimes capitalized as Truth and it is related to character.

But what happens when you disconnect your truth as merely just a title and identity from reality? In other words, you choose to cut the cords between the notion of, “This is who you see me as” and “This is who I really am.”

There lies the real, raw, and perfect truth.

I am not defined as mother, wife, writer, employee, friend; you are not, either.

We are defined by actual truth – the truth that outlasts every opinion, thought, and temporary feeling.

Real truth knows no doubt; instead, it desires to know and seek something much more powerful than previously imagined which is the greatest truth – that which lies within each and every single one of us.

When we learn to acknowledge our deepest truths, we are capable of so much more because we are no longer limited by false truths. And when real truths are revealed, our hearts open wider; glitter spreads further.
